ENG/SINGLE CAMERA-ELECTRONIC NEWS GATHERING WITH OPERATOR

Add 30 minutes set up time and 30 minutes breakdown time to program length (minimum 30 minutes). Package includes:  2 wireless microphones, 1 reflector, 1 on-camera light, 1 production assistant (grip).

Rates are based on an 8-hour day. Any hours after 8 hours will be billed at time and one-half.

Conditions:
•All reservations must be scheduled and paid in full one week prior to the event.
•Client must sign a Contractual Rental Agreement including Insurance Waiver and Liability Release.
•If cancellations are made 2 days (48 hours) prior to the event, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged.
•If cancellations are made less than 2 days (48 hours) prior to the event, there will be a charge of 25% of the total package.
•No use of any other part of the facility or equipment is permitted.
Registered non-profit organizations may qualify for a discount.

Stock Footage

STOCK FOOTAGE

STOCK FOOTAGE COMMERCIAL USE FEES

Stock footage is provided for use on a non-exclusive basis and is granted on a limited usage basis for a given production and a given length of time as stated in the request. It may not be reused, resold, relicensed or recut in any other production. The following rates are for video stock footage copyrighted by KOCT-Oceanside Community Service Television Corp.

Broadcast Use:                                                                                  $100.00 / shot
Non-broadcast Use: Industrials, In-house Corporate, etc.     $50.00 / shot

Duplication and Handling: Duplication, handling, research, shipping and tape costs are in addition to commercial use fees and subject to change dependent on videotape cost and changes in hourly compensation.

Multiple Usage of a Single Scene: Each additional use of a single scene in a given production is considered as a separate scene.

Quantity Discounts: Multiple scenes used in a given production will be discounted as follows: 10 shots, 10%; 20 shots, 20%; and 25 shots or more, 25%, maximum.

Terms:
1. A letter of request detailing the commercial purpose and length of intended use must be sent to KOCT-Oceanside Community Service Television Corp. before request is processed. The request must be received no later than two weeks in advance of need.
2. Commercial use fees must be paid before a master copy is shipped. Checks should be made payable to KOCT-Oceanside Community Service Television Corp.
3. No duplication of master element is allowed.
4. A DVD copy of the completed project must be sent to KOCT-Oceanside Community Service Television Corp.
5. Payment is due at time of order.

North County Talks & Oceanside Talks

Professional, courteous and prompt, KOCT television can help you produce, host and own your very own talk show tailored to your business’s needs with North County/Oceanside Talks.

North County/Oceanside Talks is a television series that allows local business owners, individuals and other North County community organizations to produce their own talk show at an affordable price.

KOCT is available on COX Cable and AT&T  U-Verse. These programs will be shown on KOCT a minimum of eight (8) times during the week; over morning, lunch and evening airing times.  Each North County/Oceanside Talks program will also be available on-demand via http://www.KOCT.org.

KOCT does not retain the rights to the North County/Oceanside Talks show you produce; you are free to exhibit the show wherever or however you please. Upload or link it onto your business’s website, duplicate DVDs of the show to hand out at vendor expos or use them in company mailers; it’s all up to you! KOCT simply makes it stress-free and affordable for you to jump onto a professional video production and get your message out there.

Two introductory packages are being offered for North County/Oceanside Talks, including an “a la carte” menu which allows you to customize, or personalize your shoot. The entry level price (Silver Star package) is $500. Our Gold Star package is only $800 and includes Host, professional teleprompter aides, three (3) hours of editing and more. Community Calendar

KOCT's new Community Calendar service allows non-profits, service groups, and local organizations to promote and publicize their events on television for an affordable monthly or annual fee. KOCT is available in 80% of Oceanside homes on Cox Cable. KOCT is also available county-wide on AT&T's U-Verse Channel 99, and streams both channels live via KOCT.ORG on the internet. KOCT's Community Calendar will be shown on Channel 18, Monday thru Friday at 9 am & 5 pm, and on Saturday at 9 am. Click the link below for more info, including pricing and submission form.

Election Programming

CANDIDATE STATEMENTS

Candidate Statements is an Election Season service of KOCT-The Oceanside Channel.  Any candidate running for office can record a 5-minute statement explaining their positions, ideas, and platform and why voters should elect them to office.  Candidates are given a 30 minute time slot at KOCT to record their 5 minute statement. Their statements are recorded in the studio equipped with professional lighting, audio, camera and a teleprompter. The fee for this service is $250 per candidate.

KOCT then edits these programs together—with categories for city council, mayor, hospital boards, assembly districts etc. - for airing on KOCT. These programs are also available ‘on-demand’ on KOCT.ORG and candidates are encouraged to link their websites to KOCT.

Candidates may choose instead to provide a 5-minute or less statement on a Jump Drive in a H.264 file format to KOCT, their Statement will be included in KOCT’s edited Candidate Statements at no charge. We must receive these programs prior to September, 2016 and they must be in the same requirements as our other KOCT recorded Candidate Statements. Any candidate can also provide a longer, professionally edited program to KOCT for airing during KOCT‘s public access scheduling as long as it meets KOCT’s Public Access Guidelines.
