From 7pm to 8pm, the first show will explore 4 unique topics: Our first guest, Wayne Knight from Tri City Medical Center, will be discussing the selection of Tri City to operate a Shared Savings Accountable Care Organization (ACO) for Medicare patients. The ACO program is part of the Affordable Care Act recently upheld by the U.S Supreme Court. Next, J. Robert Shaffer, an Oceanside Author, will introduce his recent book “Samoa, a Historical Novel”. Oceanside has one of the highest populations of pacific islanders in the nation. This program helps returning veterans to enter the civilian job market. Finally, our fourth guest will be Torgen Johnson, an activist involved in the movement to shut down San Onofre Generating Station. The Second show will air live from 8pm to 9pm and will mark the start of KOCT 2012 Election Season.
