North County Health Services, County of San Diego and the U-T San Deigo on this week's "LIVE" Journalist Roundtable!
Tune to KOCT - Channel 18, Thursday, January 9th, at 6 pm for a one-hour "live" Journalist Roundtable program.
Our first guest, Irma Cota, CEO of North County Health Services, will talk about North County Health Services' expansion plans, the Affordable Health Care Act and how it is affecting the clinic and their patients.
Bill Horn, County of San Diego Supervisor, will discuss the state of the county and what his priorities are for 2014. The journalists will ask why he chose to run for Supervisor again and what his thoughts are about the upcoming race against Oceanside's Mayor Jim Wood.
And then John Lynch, CEO of the U-T San Diego, will discuss the growth of the U-T San Diego, the paper circulation and their television endeavor. He will also be asked about the recent purchase of a local newspaper chain. Our host will ask him about the health and future of newspapers and the future plans for the U-T San Diego.
The host for Journalist Roundtable is veteran journalist Kent Davy. He is joined on set by KPBS's Alison St. John and columnist from the San Diego Union-Tribune, Logan Jenkins.
