This Weeks “LIVE” Journalist Roundtable On Your Community Channel!
Tune to KOCT - Channel 18, Thursday January 8th at 6 pm for a one-hour “live” Journalist Roundtable program. You will not want to miss this new season of Journalist Roundtable as we have a great guest line-up.
Our Guests will include:
Jaime Figueroa, Program Supervisor of Project REACH Libby Lake- a Vista Community Clinic program that works with at-risk youth. He was born and raised in Oceanside during a period of increased gang activity. He rose out of the violence to get his GED, go to Mira Costa Community College and later transferred to UC Berkley and is currently studying to be an attorney.
Tim Moran, CEO of Tri-City Medical Center is an experienced senior healthcare executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience and a track record of success serving as Chief Executive Officer, President and Administrator for hospitals in several states. He will talk about our community hospital, Tri-City Medical Center-- its present challenges and future plans.
Steve Marcotte, Managing Editor of the Oside News.com will explain how and why he started the Oside on-line local news paper.
City of Oceanside’s Mayor Jim Wood, will discuss the recent election and how it will affect council dynamics. He’ll also give viewers a look at the challenges in 2015 and his goals for the New Year.
The host for Journalist Roundtable is veteran journalist Kent Davy and he will be joined on set by KPBS’s Alison St John and Columnist Logan Jenkins from the San Diego Union-Tribune.
