City of Oceanside: Mayor's Monarch Pledge

The monarch butterfly is an iconic species whose migration and metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly has captured the imagination of many. Now, American Mayors are taking action to help save the monarch butterfly, whose populations have declined in recent years. Through the National Wildlife Federation's Mayors' Monarch Pledge, U.S. cities like Oceanside are committing to creating habitat for the monarch butterfly and pollinators, and to educate residents about how we can all make a difference at home and in our community.
