Watch Journalist Roundtable “LIVE”

Main Street Oceanside, Oceanside City Manager and Vista’s Deputy Mayor on this week’s “LIVE” Journalist Roundtable!

Tune to KOCT - Channel 18, Thursday March 6th at 6 pm for a one-hour “live” Journalist Roundtable program.

Our first guest, Rick Wright the Executive Director of Main Street Oceanside will discuss downtown Oceanside –the reconfiguration of Mission Ave and many new businesses, restaurants and hotels.  Main Street Oceanside not only administers the weekly Farmers Market on Thursday mornings but the very successful Sunset Market on Thursday evenings and a total of 101 events each year.

Our second guest, Steve Jepsen  is the new City Manager for the City of Oceanside.  Mr. Jepsen will discuss his ‘return’ as City Manager and how the City is recovering from the past downturn in the economy.

Our final guest is John Aguilera who is the Deputy Mayor for the City of Vista. Deputy Mayor Aguilera served on the Vista Planning Commission from 2004-2010 and the Investment Advisory Committee from 2002-2010. Mr. Aguilera will discuss the city goals and developing strategies for moving the city forward.

The host for Journalist Roundtable is veteran journalist Kent Davy. He is joined on set by the Coast News Editor, Tony Cagala and columnist from the San Diego Union-Tribune, Logan Jenkins.
