The Neighborhoods of North County
“Manufactured Homes”

KOCT – Your Community Television Channel’s new television program, “Manufactured Homes”, is the latest in the series, The Neighborhoods of North County.  This ten-minute program explores the unique lifestyle, affordability, and diversity of the mobile home community.  Oceanside’s Rancho San Luis Rey and Cavalier, and Carlsbad’s Lake Shore Gardens and Lanikai Lane are some of the neighborhoods that the KOCT camera crew visited for this program.

Oceanside has seventeen parks and as one resident commented, “People don’t realize how nice mobile home parks have gotten these days.”  Another resident noted that in Oceanside, over 700 veterans and their widows live in these affordable communities.

The program was produced, edited, and narrated by KOCT’s Peter Bonscher and the camerawork was done by Jon Beltz.  Special thanks to Victor Roy for his assistance in producing this new program.

The program has been, and will continue to air extensively in June as well as July on KOCT’s Community Channel 19.  Here are a few replay dates:
