Oceanside Earth Festival 2019 Promo

Over the past 10 years, Oceanside’s Earth Festival has grown to become the largest in North County. The City’s “Green Oceanside” campaign started out as an idea and has grown to broaden the awareness of all sustainability goals, such as clean water, zero waste, energy conservation, water conservation, and climate action. The Green Oceanside team evolved from a handful of City staff and environmental enthusiasts, to include hundreds of Green Oceanside businesses, non-profit organizations, schools, local community groups and thousands of green Oceanside residents who have participated in at least one of the dozens of events held annually in celebration of Oceanside’s commitment to healthy and clean water, air, land, and beaches. What does Green Oceanside mean to our City? This year marks Oceanside’s 10th annual Earth Festival. Come celebrate with us on April 27th from 10am-3pm Each year our community joins hands in celebrating the environment with this event in beautiful downtown Oceanside. With performances from local schools and community groups, to demonstrations from businesses and local vendors, we all share this passion of advocating for the planet and a greener Oceanside. Not only is Earth Festival a fun family friendly event, it also creates a large impact through community pride for our local environment. Through education and community engagement, residents and visitors are shown how Oceanside is taking the lead on the road to Zero Waste and strives to keep Oceanside beautiful for years to come. From O'side Kitchen Collaborative to Friends of El Corazon, and even our City’s Franchise Hauler Waste Management- everyone has their part in What Green Oceanside is for our city. Join us as we celebrate the Earth and our City- Saturday, April 27th from 10am-3pm in downtown Oceanside. We hope to see you there!

Driving under the influence of drugs has the same consequences and can be just as dangerous as driving impaired due to alcohol. DUI doesn’t just mean booze.

The Oceanside Police Department wants to remind you that law enforcement is out looking for impaired drivers. Don't risk losing your license, your car, your freedom—and possibly your life.

Designate a sober driver, take a ride service or the bus, or you'll be taking a ride straight to jail.

Remember: You Drink & Drive. You Lose.
